The coordinating team for the Unplugged project that is being developed by Mentor International supported by the Ikea Social Initiative met in Thessaloniki. The group met at the head office of Pyxida hosted by their Director, Maro Vassara.
The team oversee and support the five country based organisations and teams who are working to adapt, pilot, implement and evaluate the original EU-DAP programme in Croatia, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Romania and Russia. The team met to assess progress and the plans for the final phase and to address the dissemination and sustainability of the project beyond the formal life of the project which completes and reports at the end of this year.
At this stage the team are encouraged by the progress in all countries and the potential it has to help promote the development of prevention work in their countries. |
