Mentor UK wishes to fill 2 exciting new posts based in Edinburgh


Project Manager, Salary £27,000 p.a. plus 6% pension contribution (full-time)
Administrator, 3 days per week, Salary pro rata of £20,000 p.a. plus 6% pension contribution

Mentor UK is the leading UK charity working in the field of substance misuse prevention so as to promote the health and well-being of children and young people and reduce the harm that the misuse of drugs and alcohol can cause.

We wish to appoint 2 staff to support project work in Scotland, reporting to Mentor UK’s Development Manager in Scotland.

Project Manager
The Project Manager will work to develop and manage substance misuse prevention activities which will benefit young people and those with responsibilities towards them. This includes a strong focus on evaluation and project management. You will lead on the development and implementation of projects, specifically a Comic Relief funded project enabling young people to train others in relation to the risks associated with alcohol misuse.

Administrator
The Administrator will provide administrative support to Mentor UK’s activities in Scotland and specifically a three-year EU funded Kinship Carers and Prevention Project in 7 European countries.
